Synopsis
With California facing one of the most severe droughts in its history, the state’s residents are being called to be more vigilant than ever to conserve water. One of the measures proposed to conserve water is to convert residential and commercial landscaping with water-smart landscaping. Xeriscaping, drought-tolerant, and drought-resistant landscaping are gaining popularity, but how can the average person incorporate these ideas into their lawns and lives? Learn the differences between these approaches and determine your best strategy for water conservation in your backyard.
 
Join us as Master Gardener Charles Nichols, M.D. discusses how you can implement a manageable, water-smart landscaping plan that will help conserve water and save you money!
