Internships
The Bolsa Chica Conservancy is dedicated to protecting the Bolsa Chica Ecological Reserve through leadership in science-based education, restoration, and community outreach. To help students and new professionals gain work experience in this career field, the Bolsa Chica Conservancy offers a variety of internships.
All of our programs work closely to provide an interconnected perspective and experience to our visitors and volunteers. In order to provide a well-rounded experience all internships will include mandatory cross-training. During the entire course of this internship season, participants will be expected to participate in other programs. Our internships are often mobile experiences, involving a fair amount of walking, standing, and lifting, either in the field or around the office. As such, applicants should also be able to lift up to 50 pounds, when and if needed.
We are currently accepting Summer Internship applications for all positions.
At this time, our internships are currently unpaid positions.
